twelve apostles, known as the saint of the impossible.

Sacred Heart of Jesus
medal. In 1664,
Jesus appeared to Sister (now St.) Margaret Mary Alocoque
while she was praying in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
He showed forth His Heart; surrounded by thorns, glowing
with flames and surmounted by a cross.
Pointing to his heart he said "Behold this heart
which has loved men so!..."

Saint Anthony of Padua Medal.
Also called the wonder worker. A Franciscan preacher who lived in the 13th century.
Widely known as the saint who helps people find lost objects.

Very popular patron saint of policemen. His name is Hebrew for the question "Who is like God?" Usually depicted in battle, defeating the devil, Lucifer, leader of the fallen angels who rebelled against God in the beginning.

Saints are people who've lived lives of extraordinary holiness. God, in his eagerness to call attention to their way of life, often allows special favors to be obtained through their intercession. If the saint is a patron saint, the occupation or country is listed followed by the feast day.
